The Greater San Antonio Builders Association is kicking off the Spring Tour of Homes for 2026 with eight key communities and over 65 home entries located across the Greater San Antonio area. The two-weekend open house event runs May 16 and 17 and May 23-25, creating a prime opportunity for builders to showcase new construction and for REALTORS to connect buyers with the region’s strongest new home inventory. Builder members are still encouraged to enter built homes, homes under construction and model homes.
CPS Energy returns as the presenting partner of the 2026 Spring Tour of Homes, with properties featured across the 22-county region. The Sales and Marketing Council developed a new marketing and advertising campaign launching this spring. Rev Mortgage and Builder Boost are sponsoring the tour alongside Presenting Partner CPS, with promotion across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms throughout May. The GSABA mobile app — sponsored by Security Service Federal Credit Union — launches in late April, and key communities will also be advertised on the billboard in front of the GSABA offices
on 1604.
Nine REALTOR Ambassadors are featured in the Spring Tour of Homes video marketing campaign, already generating thousands of views. A printed Tabloid will be inserted in the San Antonio Express News full run and available online at mysa.com beginning Sunday, May 10. The entry fee for builders is $500 — this is your opportunity to be part of the largest New Home Showcase in Central Texas.
San Antonio continues to draw national attention as one of the top markets for new home sales, with Texas ranking among the fastest-growing states in the nation. That momentum makes the Spring Tour of Homes a valuable platform — for builders looking to move inventory and for REALTORS guiding clients toward new construction.
On the association side, GSABA presented its strategic plan to the Board of Directors at the March 17 meeting following a retreat in February. Four task forces have been formed covering bylaw updates, public awareness, membership growth and government affairs and advocacy programs.
Builders and REALTORS alike are encouraged to get involved with GSABA. The association offers networking, education and a professional community built around the growth of San Antonio’s housing industry. When builders and real estate professionals work together, everyone wins — a rising tide that lifts all boats.
The next GSABA Membership Mixer is Thursday, May 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Builders First Source. Board of Directors meetings are open — the next is Tuesday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m. RSVP by calling 210-696-3800.
