Momentum Is Contagious with WCR San Antonio

Summer has a way of reminding us to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come before we focus on where we’re headed.

As I reflect on the first half of this year, I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together as a network. We have learned, laughed, connected and grown through every event—from Reignite Your Spark to Rhinestone Roundup, Blooming Into Balance, our Coffee Connect, Membership Orientation, and our recent Be A Digital Boss program. Every event has reinforced what makes Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio (WCR San Antonio) so unique: people who genuinely want to see one another succeed.

One of my greatest joys as president has been watching new relationships form and strengthen. Business gets done when people know, trust and support one another, and that’s exactly what our network continues to cultivate. Whether you’re a brand-new member or you’ve been involved for years, thank you for investing your time, your talents and your willingness to build something bigger than yourself.

This spring also reminded me why mentorship matters so much within our organization. I’ve watched seasoned members take newer REALTORS® under their wing, sharing hard-earned lessons about negotiation, marketing and building a sustainable business. Those conversations rarely happen in a classroom — they happen over coffee, in the hallway before a luncheon or during a quiet moment after a program ends. That’s the kind of leadership that doesn’t show up on an agenda, but it shapes who we become as professionals and as a network. I’m grateful for every member who has taken the time to answer a question, offer encouragement or simply listen. Those small moments add up to something powerful, and they’re a big part of why our momentum keeps building year after year. It’s a reminder that success in this industry is rarely a solo achievement — it’s built one relationship, one favor and one honest conversation at a time.

As we enter the second half of the year, our momentum is
only growing.

July marks an exciting milestone as we prepare for our 2027 board elections and don’t miss the Women in Leadership Panel right before elections! Leadership is one of the greatest gifts WCR San Antonio offers. Our incoming leaders will help continue the mission of advancing women as business leaders while creating opportunities for every member to grow professionally and personally. I encourage every eligible member to participate in the election process and support those who have stepped forward to serve. Their willingness to lead ensures that our network remains strong for years to come.

I’m also looking ahead to an incredible fall season filled with opportunities to learn, connect and celebrate together.

Our September Coffee Connect will focus on leadership, followed by our Building Relationships That Shine Member Appreciation Event. In October, we’ll gather for our Cheers to Growth Holiday Kick-Off Mixer before recognizing our outstanding Strategic Partners at our annual appreciation breakfast. November brings another opportunity to welcome new members during Membership Orientation, and before we know it, we’ll be celebrating another successful year while preparing to install our 2027 leadership team.

Every event has been thoughtfully planned with one goal in mind—to provide meaningful value for your business while strengthening the relationships that make WCR San Antonio unlike any
other organization.

None of this would be possible without our incredible 2026 Board, Strategic Partners and every member who continues to say “yes” to showing up. Thank you for believing in this organization and in
one another.

If you haven’t attended an event recently, consider this your invitation. Come introduce yourself, reconnect with familiar faces, bring a colleague and experience the community that makes Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio so special. If you haven’t received your membership shirt for 2026, reach out to Amanda Godina for delivery info!

The best is still ahead, and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together during the remainder of 2026!
